The Clean Octave Badger is a clone of the Prescription Electronics COB or Clean Octave Boost. This refers to an octave/fuzz pedal which can blend a boosted clean signal into the output. The name could be considered a little misleading as it does not produce a clean octave sound. The octave sound is always fuzzy, but when blended with a clean signal, the fuzz can be tempered, and unlike a pure octave fuzz this makes it usable when playing chords not just melodic lines.
This project is very straight forward to build, all component values are printed on the board for ease of assembly, except the transistors. I use 2N3904.
